5Worth every cent
Fantastic tour that explains the history of the Ord. scenery was out of this world and plenty of wildlife to see
5Best way to explore the Ord River
Fantastic experience exploring the Ord River (Lake Kununurra)! Thanks to Chris and Leigh our tour guides for their knowledge of the area and history of the dam and creation of Lake Argyle. Plenty of bird life and crocodile spotting.
5Kunanurra day trip
We really enjoyed this day trip out on lake Kunanurra to the Ord river dam. The guide Chris did a great job piloting the boat as well as being an entertaining and informative guide. He also set up a quite good lunch on the riverbank. I'd highly recommended this day trip when you're in Kunanurra.
5Just do it!
The guide, Dylan was a wealth of knowledge & is a credit to JJJ tours. He handled the boat as though it was a 10 foot tinnie. Lunch on the bank was superb. I'm not sure that we should have paid $7.50 for about half an hour at the Durack museum, (it should have been included in the tour cost), but I am just an old tight arse senior citizen. Snoozed a bit on the coach trip back to town, as I noticed others did as well. Over all, I had a great day out.
5Ord River lunch cruise
Fantastic day out and Dillon was an amazing guide and lunch was delicious 😋 Would definitely recommend
5JJJ Day tour
The scenery, commentary and boat were fantastic. The cost was really irrelevant once we started the trip. We spent the morning looking at geographical structures, birds and crocodiles. After an amazing lunch we went further up river and the boarded the bus to go to the Durack Station. Our guide Chris, really knew his stuff and was very interesting.

About Kununurra
Kununurra is a young town in Western Australia's East Kimberley, beside the Ord River and Lake Argyle, with red ranges, boab trees and irrigated farmland.
Kununurra lies in the far north-east of Western Australia, close to the Northern Territory border, on the Ord River. It was founded in the 1960s to serve the Ord River irrigation scheme, which turned dry plains into fields of sugar cane, melons, mangoes and other crops. Red sandstone ranges, boab trees and wide skies surround the town.
