Highlights

Most lucha libre tours in the city lead with the ticket, and treat food as a stop along the way. We built the night the other way: a curated taco route through Roma Norte first, then a proper insider read of the fight — the history, the mask code, the rudo/técnico divide, the chants — delivered before the bell, so nothing needs explaining once you're in your seat. We also work to get you seats with an actual view of the ring, not the section closest to the exits. No party bus, no shots on a schedule. It's a lucha libre night designed as one evening, not a wrestling ticket with tacos bolted on.

Inclusions

What's included

  • A lucha libre ticket, with seats close to the ring

What's not

  • Gratuities
  • Transport to the meeting point, and getting home after the show
  • Any drinks beyond the one included at each stop
  • Food and drinks inside the arena
  • Extra masks, memorabilia, or anything bought independently

Itinerary

  1. We start at a bohemian spot in Roma Norte. We open with mezcal, poured properly, or a cold beer for those easing in. Over that first round you get the quick history: where lucha libre came from, and why this city made it its own. Where the fight starts making sense: who's rudo, who's técnico, and, after a short quiz, which of the two you've been all along.

    35 min

  2. Northern-style and neon-lit. Al pastor comes off the trompo, alongside a picaña taco, with a cold beer or a non-alcoholic option.

    30 min

  3. Two more tacos here: birria and chuleta, alongside a cold beer and mezcal. Before we leave, you learn what to shout in the arena and pick your mask, or it picks you. Yours to keep.

    30 min

  4. We arrive at Arena México, pass the mural in the reception, and enter a room that's already loud, taking seats close to the ring with a clear view of the ropes. From here you read the match the way we spent the evening preparing you for: who's rudo, who's técnico, and who the crowd has decided to hate tonight. After the last match, we leave the arena together and walk you to a safe, well-connected corner on the edge of Roma Norte, where you can catch transport or order a ride. Nobody is left to work out the way home alone.

About Mexico City

Mexico City is a vast, high-altitude capital built over the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, rich in museums, murals, markets and outstanding food.

The Zócalo, one of the largest squares in the world, is framed by the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace, where Diego Rivera's murals tell the story of Mexico. Beside them, the excavated Templo Mayor reveals the heart of the Aztec capital, and the Palacio de Bellas Artes, with its marble exterior and Art Deco interior, stands a short walk west.

Top-ranked sights in Mexico City: Teotihuacán, Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Frida Kahlo Museum (Museo Frida Kahlo).
