  • 5Brilliant tour

William was brilliant. Machu Picchu is incredible and to have someone who was so knowledgeable, friendly and funny along with us for our private tour was great. He took his time to take us around, giving us breaks and taking photos of us. He even sprayed us with some mosquito repellent when needed. Super impressed and we’ll be using William for our next trip!

  • 5Thank you

Our guide was absolutely wonderful — friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable. He shared many fascinating stories about Machu Picchu, Inca history and the surrounding nature, making the visit much more meaningful and interesting. He answered all our questions, gave us enough time for photos and made sure the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. We are very grateful and would highly recommend him!

  • 5Exceeded expectations

We had a great experience with our guide Juel Condori who explained the Inca history and culture to us in English. He met us at the hotel as promised and took us all around MP, took lots of pictures for us, and lead us to the best vantage points, even some areas that were reserved for especially for tour guides. I also was nervous that if this fell through I’d miss seeing MP, but they did everything as promised. I recommend contacting the travel company on What’s App if you have any concerns. Their communication w me started on What’s App the week before and was consistent leading up to the morning of our tour. I highly recommend Juel as your English speaking guide.

About Sacred Valley

The Sacred Valley is the Urubamba River valley in the Peruvian Andes, a fertile corridor of Inca terraces, fortress towns and markets near Cusco.

The Sacred Valley follows the Urubamba River, also called the Vilcanota, through the Andes north-west of Cusco. It lies lower than the city, so the air is warmer and the land greener. The Incas farmed the valley intensively, and stone-walled terraces still climb its hillsides. Villages such as Pisac, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo lie along the river, with snow peaks above.

Top-ranked sights in Sacred Valley: Inca Trail, Lares Trek.
