  • 5Fantastic Private Tour of Macau — Highly Recommend!

Fantastic Private Tour of Macau — Highly Recommend! We had an absolutely wonderful private tour of Macau and I cannot recommend this company enough. We only had about six to six and a half hours available, and somehow our guide managed to make us feel like we truly experienced Macau rather than just rushing from one attraction to another. What I especially appreciated was that the day was completely customizable. He listened to what we wanted to see and do and tailored the tour around our interests. We saw so many of Macau’s major sights, learned about its history and Portuguese influence, and also visited some places we probably never would have discovered on our own. He even took us to a wonderful local restaurant, which was such a great addition to the day and made the experience feel much more personal. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. He responded promptly through WhatsApp, was exactly where he said he would be, was on time, and we had absolutely no communication issues throughout the entire experience. Everything was easy and extremely well organized. We were amazed by how much we were able to see and experience in such a short amount of time without feeling like we were simply being shuffled from place to place. Having a knowledgeable private guide made an enormous difference. If you are visiting Macau, I 100% recommend booking with this tour company. Whether you have an entire day or, like us, only six hours to make the most of your visit, they will customize the experience for you. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and I would absolutely use them again.

  • 5There's more to Macau than going to casinos

I had a fantastic time exploring the historic sites of Macau with Manuel as my tour guide. I'm really not into casinos, but what I'm interested in is Macau's culture and history. Manuel, a local, me to some areas that I didn't know about and helped me learn more about Macau - (the Mandarin's House, where to get the best ever egg tart and iced coffee.) Manuel is also the perfect photographer - he knows where and when you should pose for that perfect IG shot!

  • 5Enjoyable, through introduction to Macau by a local expert guide

Rebecca is a fantastic guide as she is local, expert, personable and, of course, knows Macau well. As such the tour was both efficient and leisurely, allowing us time to individualize the tour to our specific interests. We had never seen pandas so clearly and up close. It was helpful to learn more about the history and context of Macau’s development through the decades via Rebecca’s walking tours of various neighborhoods and the Macau Museum. Thanks again to Rebecca.

  • 5An last minute visit to Macau

My wife and I had a spare day in our Hong Kong visit and decided to fill it with a day visit to Macau. Manuel was our guide and was accompanied by his wife as the driver. Macau is well known for its casinos but Manuel show us a whole different side and perspective. We learnt some fascinating history and ventured to some well known and less well known areas of Macau. We have been to Portugal and eaten egg tarts, but I have to say that the egg tarts we had at the shop he took us to were next level and easily the best egg tarts we have had. Manuel is very proud of his local heritage and his passion shows in his tour. We visited both the old town and new town, the zoo, Guia Hill, Santo Antonio, some cathedrals and several other spots. We only had one day and Manuel helped us make the most of our quick visit. Manuel, thank you for a great day and for showing us a different side to Macau.

  • 5Our trip to Macau

The tour was very well organized. We wore met by a tour guide Cheryl end driver at the fairy terminal on macau side. Cheryl took us to all the sightseeing, explaining the past and the present of macau. We also visited the casino strip and went into several beautiful hotels. Cheryl also took us to the park to see pandas. Overall , it was a very pleasant and interesting experience. We're very grateful to cheryl and the driver Sam.

About Macau

Macau, a former Portuguese territory on China's southern coast, joins a World Heritage old centre and Cantonese food to a skyline of casino resorts.

The Historic Centre of Macau, a World Heritage Site, spreads around Senado Square, paved in a black-and-white wave pattern with pastel colonial buildings beside it. Up the steps beyond, the carved granite façade of St Paul's, all that remains of a 17th-century church, stands against the sky. Temples such as A-Ma, on the hillside by the harbour, show the older Chinese side of the city, and Portuguese-built forts guard the hills.

Top-ranked sights in Macau: Ruins of St. Paul, Macau Tower, A-Ma Temple (Ma Kok Miu).
