Highlights

The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” This incredible canyon has been created over many thousands of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today. The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

  • 5Unique experience with attentive guides

Anyelope canyon is a 'do not miss' for me if staying in Page, the experience is unique to anything I have visited before. The tour is a little like being herded through as the groups are all one behind the other. The canyon is so narrow in places you're single file so while the guides try their best it's hard to hear all they're saying. They did a brilliant job taking photos of every group and keeping everyone on schedule. Overall I would recommend experiencing Antelope canyon. We had a infant under 5 months in a front carrier and managed to negotiate the stairs and narrow sections with care.

  • 5lower antelope canyon tour

this tour is moderately easy, you do have to go up and down steps, but i am 70 yrs old and have two arthritic knees and it was very easy for me to do the tour. James our guide was knowledgeable and informative, and took the time to take photos of us. Would definitely recommend this tour and our guide James

  • 5The best antelope canyon to visit

Amazing lower antelope canyon, it's best canyon I never seen. A guide was helpful and knowledgeable. A small group was good enough for everyone have a chance to take photos. I think the company organised and controlled well.

About Page

Page, in northern Arizona, is a small town on Lake Powell, the base for Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and the red cliffs of the Colorado Plateau.

Page sits on a sandstone mesa above the Colorado River in northern Arizona, close to the Utah border. It was founded in 1957 as a camp for the builders of Glen Canyon Dam, whose concrete arch holds back Lake Powell, a long reservoir of blue water winding through red canyons. The lake and its branching side canyons are used for boating and houseboats, and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area protects the shoreline.

Top-ranked sights in Page: Antelope Canyon, Vermilion Cliffs National Monument.
