  • 1Cancelled after traveling to meeting point

Trip was cancelled. We had no communication until we showed up at meeting spot. I not only think we should get a full refund of the full cost but also an additional 15% due to the inconvenience and the lack of communication until we traveled to the meeting spot.

  • 1Disappointed

Excursion canceled because ship down? No notice, didn’t find out until we arrived at appointed time. Have not heard anything about refund, been 2 days, no apology sent. 😞

  • 5Whale watching with Nia and Captain Lee

My family and I had such an amazing whale watching with Nia and Captain Lee! Nia is hilarious and knowledgeable about the whales and surrounding area! The boat ride was smooth and we saw tons of whales and got amazing pictures and videos! Thank you so much to them again for the amazing experience!

  • 4Conservative Whale watching

More conservative than other tour boats in their approach to viewing the whales, therefore we always seem to be much further away than the other boats but very informative and very focused on protecting nature

  • 5Alaska Travel Adventures provide an excellent Whale watching experience

We booked this as an excursion with Princess Cruises along with a Salmon Bake. We thoroughly enjoyed the whale watching Adventure. Mila and the driver (can't remember name) were outstanding. The provided humorous and informative information throughout the trip. We saw numerous whales. Stellar Seals, and Mendenhall Glacier. I would highly recommend this group and whale watching. It was a once in a lifetime experience

  • 5Fantastic afternoon out whale watching

We booked last minute and if did not disappoint, great shuttle bus driver giving us information about the local town. We then met Nia our guide and what a personality. Nia was paired with Captain K and they make a dream duo. It’s clearly both of them have a passion for the environment and wildlife. Nia was so prepared for the trip out we were lucky enough to see groups of whales and Nia provided so much information about the behaviours and lifestyle of these beautiful whales. Thank you for a great trip.

About Juneau

Juneau is Alaska's capital, a small harbour city beneath steep forested mountains, reachable only by air or sea and close to glaciers.

Juneau sits on the Gastineau Channel in the Alaska Panhandle, squeezed between the water and the steep slopes of Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, with the Juneau Icefield behind. No road connects it to the rest of North America. The city grew after gold was found in 1880, and the Alaska State Capitol, a columned building of the 1930s, the octagonal Russian Orthodox church of St Nicholas and the old downtown streets recall that past.

Top-ranked sights in Juneau: Mt. Roberts Tramway (Goldbelt Tram), Mendenhall Glacier, Nugget Falls.
