To start this highlights city trip, local friendly tour guide will pick you up from your Guilin downtown hotel lobby at 8:30 am. Have a comfortable transfer to the dock and board one of the best sightseeing cruises on the Li River. There your amazing cruise trip starts, the tour guide will escort you and give you introductions on the different sites along the river. Gorgeous Karst peaks give you surprises at each bend of the limpid river. The eye-feasting landscape and country scenery will never disappoint you. Various attractions like peaks and villages along the river have interesting descriptive names, which calls for much of your imagination to see what it is like. Listening to tour guide's legendary stories about the attractions is a delightful experience when you are appreciating the landscapes.
It takes around 4 hours sailing along Li River, and lunch will be provided on the cruise. About Guilin
Guilin, in Guangxi, is a river town among steep limestone peaks, best known for the Li River and the karst hills of classical Chinese painting.
Guilin lies in the north-east of the Guangxi region, where limestone peaks rise as steep green towers from flat fields and the Li River. The name means forest of sweet osmanthus, and the trees line its streets. In the city, Elephant Trunk Hill stands at the river's edge shaped like an elephant drinking, Reed Flute Cave glows with coloured light on its stalactites, and the Sun and Moon pagodas rise from a lake.
