Highlights
Come and see why we love Kvaløya, an island with tranquil fjords, rich wildlife, and authentic Arctic charm, where reindeer roam freely. At Steam Tours, your comfort and experience come first. We keep groups small, so everyone gets personal attention and time to connect with our passionate local guides. Each tour is shaped by nature itself. Instead of a fixed route, we follow wind and weather to where the day's conditions promise the best views, the finest photo spots and the most unique corners of Kvaløya's fjords. Our mission is simple: to create an extraordinary experience that stays with you long after your journey. Along the way, we stop to relax and enjoy snacks, a salmon lunch and something warm to drink. You'll have plenty of time to take your own photos, and our guide will also capture beautiful pictures of you in the stunning surroundings, creating lasting memories of your Arctic adventure.

About Tromsø
Tromsø is a Norwegian city well inside the Arctic Circle, on an island among fjords and peaks, known for the northern lights and the midnight sun.
Tromsø stands on an island in northern Norway, linked to the mainland by a bridge and a tunnel, with jagged peaks rising across the sound. Founded in the eighteenth century, it grew as a base for Arctic hunters and explorers, and the Polar Museum recalls expeditions that set out from the harbour. The Arctic Cathedral, with its angled glass front, stands across the bridge, and wooden houses fill the old centre.
Top-ranked sights in Tromsø: Tromso Fjords, Kvaloya (Sállir), Sommaroy.
