Canberra's has some of Australia's best wine, food, cheese, chocolate, beers and spirits and we’ll try them all on this tour as we visit two wineries, a distillery and a chocolatier. Each stop includes a guided tasting by a local supplier and if where possible, a behind the scenes tour at select locations. About Canberra
Canberra is Australia's planned capital, a city of lakes, wide avenues, national museums and bushland hills in the Australian Capital Territory.
Canberra was designed in the early twentieth century by the American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin, who arranged it around an artificial lake that carries his name. Parliament House, opened in 1988, sits on Capital Hill under a lawn-covered roof, while Old Parliament House, further down the same axis, is now a museum of Australian democracy. The Australian War Memorial, with its domed Hall of Memory, stands at the head of Anzac Parade.
