1Waiting for my refund. Horrible Service!
I am appalled by the unprofessionalism of this tour company. GIVE ME MY REFUND!! My 2 tours were cancelled, which I wasn’t notified about. I only knew this when I called on the day of my tour, several times, to confirm pick up times. My tour was cancelled due to the guide being unwell, which I’m understanding of. The tour was cancelled several days before and I didn’t receive any notification of this at all. I was assured I would get my refund. Which I have NOT! I have sent multiple emails, called multiple times, left voicemails and none of these have been responded to! I booked directly with the company. I’m still waiting for my refund. Upon looking further into this issue, this is not a first with this company and people have had the same issues with getting their money refunded. I have done extensive travel in Australia, and abroad, and I have NEVER had this absolute lack of professionalism from any tour company or business. If the business owners are reading this: action my refund ASAP!
1Dreadful service
Worst company I have ever experienced. First we get a confirmation that we are being picked up at 2.30 at Hotel A then when I asked if they could pick us up at our air bnb they said no but they could pick us up at Hotel B and it was winter hours so 1 pm. I said that’s fine. Then we get another email with confirmation that they are picking us up at Hotel A at 2.30pm. I rang and left 4 messages and sent two e mails all in the / days before the tour. Nothing back!! So we turn up at hotel B at 1 pm and wait there till 1.30 pm and they don’t show. No call or anything even although they have our number and it is correct on the confirmation. TERRIBLE SERVICE and ZERO COMMUNICATION.
5Amazing experience!
My mum and I had wonderful experience with a bus full of fellow tourists from across the globe. Neil is a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide, great knowledge of Australian history, nature and wildlife. It was also great that we got to see kangaroos and koalas upclose.
5A wonderful Evening!
I had the pleasure of spending my evening on this experience yesterday. Our Guide, Neal was exceptional. He was very informative, and kept the tour fun. Neal was right on time picking us up at the Hotel. It was such a nice evening and we sen so many animals! Australia is amazing, if you are here visiting do yourself a huge favor and book this tour!
5Wildlife experience plus more
Although we have lived in Australia for many years and have seen kangaroos and koalas in multiple locations, this tour is still worth mentioning. The tour guide, Neil, is very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained the different species of wallabies and kangaroos and introduced an interesting app for birdwatchers. He also fulfilled my wish to spot a platypus in the wild. Another highlight was the NASA deep space radio tower, which came with a very interesting story. As we were the only group on the day, he even dropped us back at our accommodation. I would highly recommend this tour.
5Very Informative and Safe
The tour guide, Neil, not only provided up close views of the promised kangaroos and koalas but also the red-necked wallaby and the black/swamp wallaby! The most unexpected and special parts of the tour were spotting an Emu as soon as we entered the reserve and the opportunity to see a pond where platypuses (platypodes?) live! A mix of luck and Neil's expert knowledge allowed us to actually get close enough to see the beak and the body of a platypus as it dove around the pond. If this all wasn't enough, Neil specializes in birds and was able to provide a wealth of information on the various birds we spotted during the tour. He was even able to show us the location of a very successful bowerbird and his meticulously crafted bower. Overall it was a wonderful and informative experience where I felt comfortable and safe the entire time with Neil and the other solo female traveler that joined us. There is no cell reception for most of the tour, so keep that in mind. I also recommend closed toe shoes, long trousers, and a light jacket or sweater during the cooler months. Amazing tour, huge thanks to Neil for the great experience!

About Canberra
Canberra is Australia's planned capital, a city of lakes, wide avenues, national museums and bushland hills in the Australian Capital Territory.
Canberra was designed in the early twentieth century by the American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin, who arranged it around an artificial lake that carries his name. Parliament House, opened in 1988, sits on Capital Hill under a lawn-covered roof, while Old Parliament House, further down the same axis, is now a museum of Australian democracy. The Australian War Memorial, with its domed Hall of Memory, stands at the head of Anzac Parade.
