  • 4Must do.

It's a must do. The hotel pick up and arrival was cordial and there were two coffee breaks while the balloons inflated as the sun rose. Thoughtful extras like outdoor space heaters and a phone charging spot. The ride itself is magical. The balloons do not always land exactly where they are supposed to so be prepared to roll with it. It does not take away from the experience. The cave breakfast was unique, also. Between the breakfast and the pyramid visit, you are taken to a tourist area to buy souvenirs, which was not part of the noted tour and the only noted disappointment The pyramid tour is also interesting and informative, and you are safely returned to your hotel.

Definitely worth the early wake up! The views were incredible and the experience overall is a blast. The staff were all extremely accommodating, our captain Jovani was great, and it’s a well run operation. I’d recommend this for anyone visiting!

About Mexico City

Mexico City is a vast, high-altitude capital built over the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan, rich in museums, murals, markets and outstanding food.

The Zócalo, one of the largest squares in the world, is framed by the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace, where Diego Rivera's murals tell the story of Mexico. Beside them, the excavated Templo Mayor reveals the heart of the Aztec capital, and the Palacio de Bellas Artes, with its marble exterior and Art Deco interior, stands a short walk west.

Top-ranked sights in Mexico City: Teotihuacán, Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Frida Kahlo Museum (Museo Frida Kahlo).
