• 1Worst Travel Experience

  An awful experience—transportation did not match what was advertised We booked a guided Niagara Falls trip through Expedia for our group at an advertised total price of $1,428. The listing stated that transportation would be provided in a luxury bus. What arrived was a personal minivan that’s not registered to transport passengers across state lines. The problems started before pickup. Despite selecting one of the listed pickup locations, it took multiple emails and phone calls to confirm the correct location. Then the driver was late, leaving us repeatedly calling and texting to find out where they were. The long drive from Massachusetts to Buffalo was extremely uncomfortable. Eight passengers were tightly packed into the minivan, with barely enough room to stretch our legs or move comfortably. There was no onboard bathroom, and the promised stops every two hours did not happen. We felt forced to limit our water intake because we could not count on regular restroom breaks. Members of our group have medical conditions that make prolonged sitting particularly difficult. I contacted Expedia during the trip and was told that because the trip was already underway, there was nothing they could do. I explained that we booked based on the promise of a luxury bus and that the transportation provided was unacceptable. After I raised these concerns, I noticed that the listing’s wording had changed to refer to “well-maintained professional vehicles.” That was not the description we relied on when booking. The minivan appeared to be a personal vehicle, and I did not see a DOT number displayed. This raised additional concerns for me about the transportation being used for such a long trip across state lines. We paid for the experience advertised, and that is not what we received. The cramped transportation, missed stops, pickup confusion, and lack of meaningful assistance from Expedia made this an awful experience. I would never recommend this tour company or travel with them again. Expedia also needs to take responsibility for ensuring that the services advertised through its platform match what customers actually receive. Based on this experience, this will be my last trip booked through Expedia.

  This tour was amazing. Daniel, our guide did an excellent job managing so many people. We did alot of excursions and they were breathtaking. If you like nature and the outdoors, book this tour, you will not be disappointed

  We had a wonderful two-day Niagara Falls tour, and it exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was well planned, the attractions were beautiful, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. It was a great way to experience Niagara Falls without having to worry about transportation or logistics. A special thank you to our tour guide, Mason Jiang, who made the trip even more enjoyable. He contacted me the day before the tour by both text and phone call to make sure we had all the information we needed. Throughout the trip, he was always quick to answer questions, and he was friendly, patient, and professional. My father is elderly, and Mason thoughtfully reserved some of the best seats on the bus for us. We were truly grateful for his kindness and consideration. He also provided informative commentary along the way and kept the group organized and on schedule, making the entire experience stress-free. Overall, this was an excellent tour, and Mason played a big part in making it such a memorable experience. I highly recommend both this tour and Mason to anyone planning a visit to Niagara Falls!
