Experience the best of Cincinnati
Cincinnati is a hilly Ohio River city of German heritage, with a grand railway terminal, brick neighbourhoods, chili over spaghetti and old baseball.

Cincinnati rises from the north bank of the Ohio River, built across hills, with Kentucky just over the water. The Roebling Suspension Bridge of 1866, a forerunner of the Brooklyn Bridge, links the two states. The Cincinnati Museum Center, in the Art Deco Union Terminal with its enormous half-dome rotunda, holds museums of history and natural history, and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center tells of the people who fled slavery across the river.
Over-the-Rhine, a neighbourhood of Italianate brick buildings from the German immigrant era, is now full of breweries, restaurants and Findlay Market, the oldest public market in Ohio still in use. The Cincinnati Zoo is among the oldest in the United States, and the Reds, whose roots go back to 1869, are among the oldest professional baseball clubs in the country. Eden Park gives a high view over the river.
Cincinnati chili, a spiced meat sauce served over spaghetti and topped with cheese, comes in three-way, four-way and five-way servings. The city also loves goetta, a German-style breakfast sausage of pork and oats. Oktoberfest Zinzinnati honours the city's brewing history each September. Summers are hot and humid, winters cold, and autumn colours the hills.
