Highlights

Join us for a guided snowy experience in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through Rocky Mountain National Park on a 4 - 5 hour private tour with only your party & your guide! On our tour, you'll see a frezzing waterfall, we'll drive up the famous Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. You can even add up to an hour of sledding! This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests. *Micro spikes will be used instead of snowshoes and are included for your tour to keep you safe while walking on icy surfaces. We are only able to offer hotel pickup for guests in Estes Park or the small surrounding towns. • 5Best guided tour of RMNP!

Riley provided us the best tour we could have imagined! Was able to provide us all kinds of information and facts about Estes Park and RMNP…..plus some folk lore plus some true crime stories! He was great at pointing out all sorts of wildlife. Best of all he took all the pictures we wanted of us in the park. For 2 non-hikers, this was the best way to visit the park without having to study maps forever to make sure we were going the right way. We could just sit back and enjoy the tour! I highly recommend this tour!!

  • 5Amazing

We booked a private tour and Riley was just fantastic! We learned so much about the history of Estes Park and he took us to the best spots in RMNP. We were able to borrow microspikes and gaters from him which were very useful in the short hikes we did. We spotted coyotes too thanks to Riley and his binoculars! The car ride was also very comfortable - there were bottles of water and even hand warmers ready for us. Highly, highly recommend!!! ⭐️

  • 5Explore Estes was a great experience! 5 Stars!

Riley was an excellent tour guide! We enjoyed the history of Estes and RMNP, the educational info of the wildlife and the trees! Loved having the private tour because he tailored it to what we wanted to see! He had a great eye for wildlife and we saw a moose, elk, deer, pika, and magpies! He had a spotting scope that helped to see the wildlife up close, but stay at a safe distance. His car was super clean, and comfortable. You have your own controls in the backseat, including heated seats! I would definitely suggest Explore Estes and Riley to anyone!

  • 5Rocky Mountain National Park guided driven tour with optional very short walks

Riley was great. He was very nice, knowledgeable. He took some beautiful photos for us and showed us some hidden gems in the park. We really had a great experience. This tour was a driven tour with optional short walks. Perfect for families or if the weather is iffy.

About Estes Park

Estes Park is a mountain town at the eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, known for elk, alpine lakes and a historic hotel.

Estes Park lies at about 2,300 metres in a valley of the Colorado Rockies, along the Big Thompson River and beside Lake Estes. It is the main eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The town centre has timber-fronted shops, a riverwalk and the Stanley Hotel, a white Colonial Revival hotel on a hill that opened in 1909 and inspired Stephen King's novel The Shining.
