Itinerary
Deir el-Medina, in Upper Egypt, is part of the Theban Necropolis in the northern Valley of the Kings in Luxor Governorate, specifically on the west bank of the Nile River. It was home to families of skilled craftsmen during the New Kingdom of Egypt (1570-1070 BC). Some of them excavated and built the tombs of the pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings, while others...
The Temple of Habu is located on the West Bank of Luxor. It is known in ancient Egyptian as the Temple of “United with Eternity” or “Temple of Millions of Years of Ramses III.” It is one of the largest funerary temples in ancient Egypt and is distinguished by a unique architectural design that blends strength and beauty, through its massive walls decorated with hieroglyphic inscriptions that tell stories of victories and military battles.
The Valley of the Queens is the burial place of queens in ancient Egypt. It was known in ancient times as "Ta-Set-Neferu," meaning "Place of the Pharaoh's Children" or "Place of Beauty," because it was in this place that Nefertari, wife of King Ramses II, and the queens of the 18th, 19th, and 20th Dynasties (from 1550 to 1070 BC) were buried.

About Luxor
Luxor stands on the site of ancient Thebes, with vast temples on the Nile's east bank and the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings across the river.
On the east bank, the Karnak temple complex spreads across acres of pylons, obelisks and the forest of columns in its Great Hypostyle Hall. An avenue of sphinxes links it to Luxor Temple in the town centre, which is especially atmospheric when lit up in the evening. The Luxor Museum and the Mummification Museum sit along the riverside corniche.
Top-ranked sights in Luxor: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut (at Deir el-Bahari), Colossi of Memnon.
