5Great Experience
It was a great experience! Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the ship and the flight deck with all the jets. Took plenty of pics for memories. Thank you for a great experience!
4Great way to spend a day in San Diego
It was a fun time. There’s just so much to see. It gets hot in some places on the ship so dress accordingly. I’d most certainly recommend giving yourself three or more hours. Well worth the admission.. Expensive drinks and food on board… bring your own…
5Amazing visit
You don’t need to be a military historian to enjoy a visit onboard USS MIDWAY. Fascinating to see and feel what life would have been like working onboard this gigantic aircraft carrier. If you’re planning on driving there, I’d advise parking at the official car park. $15 to park, but the most convenient location on the pier right by the entrance.
5Great experience!
The experience was amazing! The gentlemen on the ship are pleasant individuals and made the experience unique.
5Really enjoyed seeing the...
Really enjoyed seeing the variety of aircraft on the flight deck and the vintage WW II aircraft below decks. Free audio tour was great.
5Wonderful!
The museum is so interesting and we appreciate all of the volunteers to help answer any questions we had. It was well worth the money. Highly recommend!

About San Diego
San Diego is a sunny Pacific port city in southern California, with long beaches, a park of museums, a Victorian Gaslamp district and the border close by.
San Diego is where Spanish settlers founded California's first mission and presidio in 1769, remembered today in Old Town. Balboa Park holds museums, gardens and Spanish-style buildings from the 1915 exposition, with the zoo beside it. The Gaslamp Quarter's Victorian streets, a restored waterfront, Coronado's grand seaside hotel and a retired aircraft carrier turned museum are other landmarks.
