Highlights
The most historically accurate ghost tour there is! You do not have to believe in ghosts to take this New Orleans ghost tour. You only need to understand that they were real to someone. The Dead Remember explores the haunted French Quarter through eyewitness testimony, historical records, newspapers, personal experiences, family stories and generations of oral tradition. Instead of presenting every legend as fact, discover where documented history ends, where folklore begins and what witnesses claimed to experience. Hear stories preserved by hotel employees, residents, writers, investigators and families, including experiences from the guide's own paranormal investigation and family history. Along the way, explore how tragedy becomes legend, how unexplained experiences acquire names and how stories can preserve people long after records have forgotten them. You will never be told what to believe. You will hear the testimony, examine the story and decide for yourself.

Itinerary
The notorious Lalaurie Mansion is known as the most haunted house in New Orleans. Historically, it is also the site of brutal torture.
Once called Place' d'Armes, this famous square was once where public executions were held. The heads of runaway slaves were posted on the fence. Even in more modern times the square is the sight of many hauntings.
The very place where the Louisiana Purchase was signed is also a hot spot for spirits
The hauntings at this stop date back to the early 1800's. Visit with us and then visit the museum the next day if you dare.
A hanging happened first and then the hanging around followed. This main ghost is treated like royalty by the restaurant he inhabits. He's not the only spirit either.
Our haunted city started right here. The dead are under our feet and in our streets. One of the most haunted cities in America.

About New Orleans
New Orleans is the Louisiana city of jazz, Creole food and the French Quarter, set on a bend of the Mississippi River near the Gulf of Mexico.
New Orleans was founded by the French in 1718 and later ruled by Spain, and the French Quarter still shows it, with wrought-iron balconies, courtyards and Jackson Square, which St Louis Cathedral overlooks. Jazz was born here, and live music pours from clubs on Frenchmen Street. The St Charles streetcar rattles beneath oaks to the mansions of the Garden District.
