Itinerary
Begin outside St. Moritz Town Hall, where the guide introduces the history of St. Moritz and the Engadin valley. Guests learn how the discovery of mineral springs and the arrival of early winter tourists helped transform a quiet mountain village into an international resort.
Pause at Plaza Mauritius, the lively square in front of the Town Hall. The square is dominated by the historic St. Mauritius Fountain. Learn how the town got its name from Saint Maurice and discover the square’s role as a hub for community life and local events.
Continue along Via Serlas, the elegant boulevard known for its luxury shops and grand hotels. Find out how international visitors, winter sports, and prestige transformed this street into one of the most exclusive addresses in the Alps. The walk pauses at the Bylandt Fountain, where guests learn how fountains once served as gathering places and essential water sources for the local community.
Built in the late 18th century after earlier churches were lost to fire, it reflects the simplicity of the Engadin's Protestant tradition. The church's defining feature is its slender, neo-Gothic bell tower crowned with a distinctive golden rooster.
A short walk leads to the striking Leaning Tower of St. Moritz, dramatically tilted against the mountain sky. Learning how unstable ground, medieval construction, and time itself shaped its unusual angle.
Tucked away in the alpine forest like a fairytale cabin, is the former home of the beloved Swiss illustrator. Built in 1917, the Mili Weber House offers an incredibly intimate experience. Nearly every wall, ceiling, and piece of furniture inside is covered with her enchanting watercolors and oil paintings.

About St Moritz
St Moritz is a high Alpine resort in the Engadin valley of eastern Switzerland, with a lake, ski slopes and a long record as a winter-sports host.
St Moritz stands at 1,822 metres above the lake of the same name in the Upper Engadin, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. Its mineral springs drew visitors for centuries, and in the nineteenth century it became a winter-sports centre, hosting the Winter Olympics in 1928 and 1948. The Cresta Run, a natural ice track for headfirst skeleton racing, has been used since the 1880s. The Segantini Museum, in a domed building, shows the Alpine light paintings of Giovanni Segantini.
