A viewpoint along Tioga Pass looking south to Half Dome, Clouds Rest and Tenaya Canyon.

Wander and explore the Wawona Hotel, collection of horse carriages at the Pioneer Yosemite History Center and old timber covered bridge.
Truly one of the iconic images of Yosemite. In spring, snowmelt drives a thunderous amount of water down the upper, middle and lower sections.

Yosemite National Park covers a wide stretch of the Sierra Nevada in California, with Yosemite Valley, carved by glaciers, at its heart. Sheer granite walls rise on either side of the Merced River: El Capitan, a favourite of rock climbers, and Half Dome, a rounded summit, tower above the valley floor. Yosemite Falls drops in several stages for a total of about 740 metres, among the tallest waterfalls in North America.
