5Enjoyable, and such a tasty experience
Lauren who is Managing Director/gastro guide was great. Very experienced, had a lot of prior related jobs which she shared when introducing herself. Our host/owner at La Choza was very accommodating and added to the experience. The food was great, we were just sad we had to do the tour our last day as there were other restaurants Lauren suggested that we would have tried. There were 7 in our group.
5Wonderful Food Tour and a Great Guide!
We had a wonderful time on the Wander New Mexico Red & Green Lunch Immersion! There were five of us in our group, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to our group’s needs. She explained everything clearly and was respectful of our individual preferences and abilities. The walking portion was just right and gave us a great opportunity to experience Santa Fe while learning about the food and culture. One person in our group is vegetarian, and the tour company was very well prepared to accommodate her. She had plenty of delicious options and never felt like an afterthought. Overall, we thought the tour was an excellent value. It was informative, fun, delicious, and very well organized. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Santa Fe!

About Santa Fe
Santa Fe, capital of New Mexico, is a high-desert city of adobe buildings, art galleries and Native American and Spanish traditions below the mountains.
Santa Fe lies at about 2,200 metres at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and it is the highest state capital in the United States. Spanish colonists founded it around 1610, and the Palace of the Governors, an adobe building on the central plaza, dates from those early years. Portals along the plaza are where Native American artists sell jewellery and pottery. The spiral staircase of the Loretto Chapel and the Cathedral Basilica of St Francis, in Romanesque style, stand within a few streets.
