Discover Potsdam, the former residence of Prussian kings and the German Kaiser, on a 4-hour guided walking tour. Travel by train from Berlin with your guide, just like the locals. Explore Potsdam’s elegant city center, admire the charming Dutch Quarter, and see landmarks like Potsdam’s Brandenburg Gate. Stroll through the magnificent UNESCO-listed Sanssouci Gardens, filled with fountains, ornate flowerbeds, and grand palaces. Learn about the city’s rich history and architecture as you walk through its tree-lined avenues. Please note that this tour does not include entry to any buildings. The tour concludes at 2 PM in front of Sanssouci Palace — perfect timing if you wish to visit inside afterward. A guide with a major in history would have been more instructive. The palace where the Potsdam Conference was held not included.
5Must Do if You're Visiting Berlin
Wonderful way to spend the day, learned so much about German history, saw some beautiful architecture and interesting things, and got out of Berlin for a day. The guide had an encyclopedic knowledge and was so good at delivering the information. I would do it again, or book another tour from this operator. This one is a must do if you're spending a few days in Berlin and haven't been to Potsdam before.

About Berlin
Berlin is Germany's creative, open-minded capital, where landmarks of a turbulent history stand among art, green parks and legendary nightlife.
The Brandenburg Gate is the city's symbol, close to the glass-domed Reichstag and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Fragments of the Berlin Wall survive, most strikingly at the East Side Gallery, a long stretch covered in murals, and at the Bernauer Strasse memorial, while Checkpoint Charlie marks the most famous former crossing point.
Top-ranked sights in Berlin: Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe (Holocaust Memorial), Checkpoint Charlie.
