  • 5The only way to see Pompeii!

The tour conveniently started right outside the gate across the street from the Pompeii train station. I don't know how we would have enjoyed Pompeii without the tour guide, Frankie. Frankie was absolutely wonderful! He was knowledgeable, friendly, approachable, and quite funny 🙂. He made our trip a lasting memory! We will never forget" follow Frankie" 🥰

  • 5Frankie our tour guide...

Frankie our tour guide was very good. Other then the rain we really enjoyed the tour. We are going to tell our friends in the USA traveling to Positano that they must go to Pompei.

Frankie was an amazing guide. We were there on a windy and rainy day. He ensured our safety and made the tour so informative and fun. I was blown away by Pompeii itself, but the humor and information from Frankie made our trip fantastic!

  • 5‘Follow Frankie’ for a fantastic tour around Pompeii!

Our tour guide (Frankie) was fantastic - welcoming, very knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour! We learnt lots of interesting facts without it feeling too much. Also felt like we avoided the bigger groups and crowns. Thank you!

About Pompeii

Pompeii is a Roman town near Naples frozen in ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD 79, with streets, villas and frescoes preserved beneath the volcano.

Pompeii was a thriving Roman town when Vesuvius buried it under ash and pumice in AD 79. Excavation, begun in the eighteenth century, has uncovered paved streets with stepping stones, shops, bakeries, bathhouses and the forum. The amphitheatre, among the oldest Roman ones to survive, and the grand House of the Faun show the range of life, and plaster casts of the dead record the final moments of some residents.

Top-ranked sights in Pompeii: Pompeii Archaeological Site, Stabian Baths (Terme Stabiane), Via dell’Abbondanza.
