Whether you’re a seasoned lei maker or this is your first time, we welcome all levels of lei makers! Each participant will craft their own lei po'o (Hawaiian flower crown) using time-honored techniques passed down through generations across Polynesia. About Kauai
Kauai, known as the Garden Isle, is Hawaii's oldest main island, a mountainous place of waterfalls, sea cliffs, a vast canyon and quiet beaches.
Kauai is the northernmost of Hawaii's main islands and the oldest, worn by millions of years of rain into deep valleys and jagged green ridges. Mount Waialeale at its centre is one of the wettest places on Earth. The towns are small: Lihue has the airport and harbour, Kapaa and Hanalei have shops and cafés, and wild chickens roam freely.
Top-ranked sights in Kauai: Na Pali Coast, Waimea Canyon, Mt. Waialeale.
