Highlights

Experience walking a LLAMA on a sunset trek at 3500 ft above sea level along the slopes of Haleakala. The scenery is absolutely breath-taking, the air is crisp and cool, and from this vantage point you can see coast to coast, the West Maui Mountains across the valley, and the surrounding islands. The walk is relatively flat, traversing rolling hills via a gravel road that becomes a grass path. Each guest walks their own llama while enjoying a way off-the-beaten path experience that will leave you with a deep appreciation and respect for Maui and these beautiful animals. Come join us for a truly incredible experience.

About Maui

Maui is the Hawaiian island of golden beaches, the Haleakalā volcano and the winding Road to Hana, with humpback whales offshore in winter.

Maui is the second-largest Hawaiian island, formed by two volcanic mountains joined by a low isthmus. Haleakalā, a vast dormant volcano rising over 3,000 metres, has a crater of coloured cinder and is famed for its sunrises and starry skies. The beaches of Kāʻanapali and Kapalua on the west face the sunset, and Wailea and Makena on the south coast have calm golden bays.

Top-ranked sights in Maui: Road to Hana (Hana Highway), Molokini Crater, Waiʻanapanapa State Park.
