5A+ Dolphin and Vanishing Island Tour
I had a wonderful excursion! I have been on many similar tours at other places and have never seen so many dolphins! The dolphins were definitely performing for us today! It was so much fun to see and learn about them. Wendy is incredibly knowledgeable and she was a perfect tour guide. Sarah, our boat captain, was an excellent driver for the trip. A plus to this trip was also the opportunity to visit the vanishing island where I saw starfish, a crab, and lots of birds and seashells. I’d give this trip an A+ and highly recommend it to everyone!
5Great Tour
We had a great time with Wendy and Capt Mike. Wendy was very friendly and funny We saw a pod of dolphins on our way back which was a highlight I highly recommend everyone check out disappearing island.
4It’s nice to learn about...
It’s nice to learn about the eco system and the dolphins. I had done this before and we found a lot of sand dollars the first time. We didn’t see any this time. So, I guess it’s a hit or miss.
5Don’t miss this afternoon tour.
We had such a great time on the tour. Great music, interesting info and saw lots of dolphins.
5Hilton Head disappearing island
We had the best time! It was my father in law’s first time in Hilton Head and first time to go on a dolphin excursion. The guides were both professional and very experienced. They were super friendly and offered to go around and take pictures for everyone of each family. Great experience!
5Dolphins and disappearing Island
We had a great experience with Wendy and our Captain. Wendy was very informative and knowledgeable and pointed out lots of interesting things and facts. The disappearing Island was really neat to walk around on and see the live creatures from the sea. The dolphins were of course the most interesting. Loved seeing them leap from the water and following the shrimp boat. They are very cute mammals.

About Hilton Head Island
Hilton Head Island is a South Carolina barrier island of wide beaches, live-oak forests, golf courses and salt marsh, with a Gullah heritage.
Hilton Head Island lies off the coast of South Carolina's Lowcountry, a barrier island shaped like a shoe, with about twenty kilometres of Atlantic beach on one side and salt marshes on the other. It is named for Captain William Hilton, who sighted its headland in 1663. Resort communities such as Sea Pines are planned among live oaks and pines, and the red-and-white striped lighthouse at Harbour Town is the island's emblem.
