Cold water and snorkel gear are provided. Our adventure starts on Polo Beach in beautiful Wailea, Maui, where you will learn first hand about ancient Hawaiian sailing canoe tradition, construction, and navigation. About Maui
Maui is the Hawaiian island of golden beaches, the Haleakalā volcano and the winding Road to Hana, with humpback whales offshore in winter.
Maui is the second-largest Hawaiian island, formed by two volcanic mountains joined by a low isthmus. Haleakalā, a vast dormant volcano rising over 3,000 metres, has a crater of coloured cinder and is famed for its sunrises and starry skies. The beaches of Kāʻanapali and Kapalua on the west face the sunset, and Wailea and Makena on the south coast have calm golden bays.
Top-ranked sights in Maui: Road to Hana (Hana Highway), Molokini Crater, Waiʻanapanapa State Park.
