In each brewhouse you will have the possibilty to try a different Kölsch and our entertaining guide will tell you everything you need to know about Kölsch, Cologne and the local mentality. Why are the tours offered without included drinks? In all the brewhouses, we pay the same price as everyone else. Including drinks would cause us administrative costs, we'd have to add to the tour price. Please make sure, you have enough cash with you. Expect around €2.50 per beer.

5Fun night in Köln!
Fun evening with lots of learning and meeting new friends! Jonas was realky knowledgeable about Köln with really cool perspectives given our very international group!

Gary was our guide and did a fantastic job, we tried 6 different brands of kölsch beer and talked about different historical facts about the places we went or passed. Had an awesome time, favorite thing we have done in Cologne!

Had a wonderful evening with our guide Irene, who is just lovely. We were the only people in our tour but conversation was easy and she had lots of really interesting history and stories to share.
5Highly Recommended Tour, good history & great beer!
My and my Fiancé had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour! The instructions to meet our Tour guide, Jeremy, were very easy and simple to follow. We met up with another couple, who were also lovely. Jeremy was very attentive throughout, keeping us engaged while taking us through the various brewhouses. We really enjoyed learning about the history of both the tradition and culture of Kölsh in both the city and within the pubs themselves. Excellent value for money. We went back to visit our favourites before we left, so if you're looking for a good experience, this tour comes highly recommended by us!!!
5Local tastes without spending a fortune and short walks.
Amazing! Erika was a fun and knowledgeable guide. I loved that we accidentally found ourselves in an all female group. The beer was really good and all the Kerbies(?) we met were exceptionally friendly. Lots of history. Would highly recommend for the local vibe.
5Great laugh!
Very entertaining with plenty of kolschs to drink along with its history and traditions in beer houses. Jeremy was an excellent guide. Note the price of drinks not included in price and also building we meet at is small and not linked with company so don’t worry if you can’t see tour company name at meeting point.

About Cologne
Cologne is a Rhine city of Roman roots and a towering Gothic cathedral, with Romanesque churches, art museums and a brewing tradition of its own.
Cologne's cathedral, begun in 1248 and finished in 1880, rises 157 metres above the Rhine on twin spires and shelters the golden Shrine of the Three Kings; it is a World Heritage site. The city began as a Roman colony, and the Roman-Germanic Museum beside the cathedral shows a large Dionysus mosaic found on the spot. The Hohenzollern Bridge carries trains across the river, its railings hung with love locks, and a dozen Romanesque churches stand in the old centre.
