Itinerary

  1. The City of Golden was the seat of the Colorado Gold Rush and at the forefront of the Wild West, and we have our share of spirits still lingering around to prove it. Your tour guide will tell you the stories of these restless souls as you traverse the town at night, starting from historic Goosetown Station. You'll walk into town through the ghostly parks along Clear Creek then up Washington Avenue for a mid-cap. The second half of the tour will take you up 12th Street, Golden's old white-collar district, and ends in the back yard of the Astor House where you can choose one last stop for a night-cap.

About Denver

Denver, the Mile High City, is Colorado's capital on the plains at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, with museums, breweries and the Red Rocks amphitheatre.

Denver stands one mile above sea level on the high plains, with the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains filling the western horizon. It began as a gold-rush town in 1858 and grew with railways and mining. Union Station, a restored rail hall, anchors the lower downtown, and the Colorado State Capitol has a step on its west side marked as one mile above sea level.

Top-ranked sights in Denver: Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, Larimer Square, Dairy Block.
