Itinerary
Start with complementary transportation from local Denali Canyon hotels or meet at the Jeep Tour Launch Site. Meet the Jeep Guides, complete participation waivers, receive driving and tour instructions. An adult over 25 years old from your group will need to drive and have their valid drivers license present. Jump into new 4-door Jeep Wranglers and follow the Guide Jeep onto the George Parks Highway, heading south toward Cantwell.
Travel through historic Cantwell (Yedatene Na). Tribal members of the Native Village of Cantwell are members of the Ahtna Regional Corporation. Cantwell is the western end of the Denali Highway and the southern-most, year-round, full-service stop in the Denali Borough.
Explore the #2 “Drive of a Lifetime” as ranked by National Geographic Traveler magazine on the scenic Denali Highway, a gravel road through untouched wilderness, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, icy glaciers, and panoramic vistas. Enjoy a 100+ mile round-trip excursion in the comfort of a new, 4-door Jeep, perfectly suited for the rugged terrain and equipped with two-way radios for communication with your guide, ensuring a personalized and flexible adventure. Seize the chance to witness Alaska’s natural wonders, including potential sightings of Denali and other majestic peaks of the Alaska Range, all while navigating through some of the state’s most spectacular scenery and wildlife habitats. Stops will be made for photography and scenic enjoyment. Since the Denali Highway is restricted for most rental cars and RVs, this tour offers a unique opportunity to explore more of Alaska’s incredible landscapes without crowds.
Known as Denali to Alaskans, the "High One" is visible along portions of the first 11 miles of the Denali Highway (weather permitting). As the Jeep Tour returns along the same route, this provides a second opportunity to see Denali.
The Nenana River, sourced from the Nenana Glacier, flows along the Denali Highway. While the Nenana River is a prime location for summer recreation, the heavy glacial silt does not make it ideal for fishing.
Make a quick stop at the Brushkana Creek for restrooms or enjoy the beauty of this picturesque creek.

5Very fun experience. We...
Very fun experience. We traveled with 4 in our jeep. Saw some beautiful Vista's that we would have not been able to experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun.
5Great Excursion
Very nice way to see the area. The guides were great and very informative. Highly recommend! The jeeps were in great shape and easy to drive.
3A scenic drive
This isn’t a drive into Denali National park. It was a rainy day for us. We didn’t see any wildlife. It was an easy drive no off-roading. The jeeps were in great condition and the guides were very informative about the area. There was beautiful scenery and the picking blueberries was fun.
5Beautiful wilderness
Great adventure. Lots of wildlife and lots of laughs.
5A perfect evening drive.
This was our favorite excursion in Denali! The guides were perfect - gave interesting information mixed with quiet time to just enjoy the views. Great scenic stopping points. Many memories made.
5Great view of Mount McKinley (Denali)
Nice tour guides were informative but didnt talk too much. We had a BEAUTIFUL DAY no clouds and lots of sun. Nice equipment no problems.

About Denali National Park
Denali National Park is six million acres of tundra, spruce forest and glaciers in interior Alaska, centred on the highest mountain in North America.
Denali National Park and Preserve covers about six million acres of interior Alaska, a landscape of braided rivers, tundra, spruce forest and glaciers spread across the Alaska Range. The mountain itself, 6,190 metres high, is the highest in North America. It often hides in cloud, so a clear view of the summit is a matter of luck.
