• 5Rare Experience to Abydos & Dendera

  This was a well planned tour to the more distant temples outside of Luxor, which our driver professionally and safely Ahmed was a great driver on this extremely long day. Our Guide was good providing us information regarding key locations around Abydos and the history of Dendera. During our visit the trip to Dendera, the famous "Dendera Lights" are underground and seemed to require an additional Ticket. I would highly recommend this tour if you wish to see these unique temples with hieroglyphs nowhere else!

  My Guide Amera was very knowledgeable and explained the history of the temples. It was a smooth trip. The driver Omar, has been with me for a week now and does a fantastic job. Loved every minute of the trip.

  A wonderful trip to Abydos and Dendara! These are genuine treasures of Egypt, and not many people visit them. Emad gave us lots of information about what we were seeing and helped us better understand this beautiful country and its wonderful temples.

• 5Abedos and Dendera are great! Do not miss it!

  Mena, our guide, and Ahmed, our driver, were great. They picked us up on time, drove us to Abedos and Dendera quickly and safely. Mena refreshed our knowlege of Egyptian geography and history on the way to the sites. Quick overview of the main sites and segnificant events was provided before letting us to explore the sites on our own. We had planty of time to take pics and explore the temples. No rush, no pressure, well orgonized and easy... probabely the most easy going tour we took in Egypt this far. Highly recomended.

About Luxor

Luxor stands on the site of ancient Thebes, with vast temples on the Nile's east bank and the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings across the river.

On the east bank, the Karnak temple complex spreads across acres of pylons, obelisks and the forest of columns in its Great Hypostyle Hall. An avenue of sphinxes links it to Luxor Temple in the town centre, which is especially atmospheric when lit up in the evening. The Luxor Museum and the Mummification Museum sit along the riverside corniche.
