Highlights
We wrote the book(s) on Chicago ghosts! Now in our 26th year! Ursula Bielski, our founder, has published more than a dozen volumes on Chicago's haunted history over more than two decades. Chicago Hauntings is the original Chicago ghost tour and still the best. Our tours are based on all original research, unlike the many other knock-off tours you'll find today. Beware of the imitations. Imagine walking in the steps of Chicago's most notorious criminals at the city's original courthouse, putting your fingers into actual bullet holes from Chicago's gangland days, feeling the haunting presences near the site of the old Cook County gallows, and gazing upon the waters where 844 souls lost their lives in the horrific Eastland disaster of 1915. Come along and experience all this and more.

Itinerary
Your ghostly journey begins at the haunted Reid Murdoch Building, on the north end of the LaSalle Street Bridge. This historic riverfront landmark sets the tone for the night, its shadowed facade the perfect gateway into two centuries of Chicago's darkest history.
Home to the world-famous WGN Radio and TV, the Tribune Tower has seen its share of drama, ambition, and heartbreak. Learn the haunted history behind its gothic walls, including tales of a beloved morning radio host whose spirit is said to still walk the halls.
On the waters of the Chicago River, hear the harrowing story of the Eastland disaster of 1915, when a top-heavy excursion boat capsized just steps from shore, claiming 844 lives in one of the deadliest maritime tragedies in U.S. history. Many say their spirits still linger near the water.
Stand where the 1812 Battle of Fort Dearborn left behind a legacy of bloodshed and restless spirits. Your guide reveals how this brutal chapter of Chicago's founding still echoes along the riverbanks today, and why locals say the dead never truly left.
Gaze up at Chicago's iconic "corncob" towers and ask yourself: is Marina City cursed? Your guide shares the eerie legends and unexplained incidents tied to these mid-century skyscrapers, built on ground steeped in old Chicago lore.
Visit the site of Frank Nitti's long-hidden vault, now beneath Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse. Visitors have reported a ghostly figure prowling the space, said by some to be the infamous mobster himself, still searching for a fortune he never recovered.
Once one of Chicago's most exclusive nightlife destinations, the former Excalibur Club drew celebrities and socialites alike, Oprah Winfrey among them. Behind the glamour, though, lurk ghost stories that hint at a darker history beneath the surface.

About Chicago
Chicago is a Great Lakes city on Lake Michigan, famed for skyscraper architecture, deep-dish pizza, blues and jazz and a long lakefront of parks.
Chicago rebuilt itself after the fire of 1871 and became the cradle of the skyscraper. The Chicago River runs through the Loop, where tall towers rise, and boat tours explain the architecture from the water. Millennium Park's mirrored Cloud Gate sculpture, known as the Bean, and the Art Institute of Chicago, with its Impressionist paintings, are close together. Willis Tower has a glass-floored observation deck.
Top-ranked sights in Chicago: Navy Pier, Wrigley Building, The Magnificent Mile.
