Highlights
Let yourself be guided on a journey through the flavors and aromas of the typical grape variety of the Island of Elba, so loved by Napoleon: Aleatico wine and its variations. We will walk among the vineyard rows stretching towards the Tuscan Archipelago and we will tell you the story of winemaking on the island of Elba, fascinating you with the legends of our estate that hover around the beautiful nineteenth-century Villa. We will visit the design cellar, the work of the architect Tobia Scarpa, with a breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and we will taste 3 wines here produced: Brut Spumante Rosato (sparkling rosé wine); Rosato Aleatico (still rosé); Bianco Vermentino (still white wine); Rosso Alicante (still red wine) and the famous Aleatico Passito dell’Elba (sweet red wine). Pair the wines with typical Tuscan products and immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of a private natural oasis with our wine tour. 5Wonderful tour in a Magical setting
Our trip to Ripalte was terrific. Our knowledgeable guide was enthusiastic and shared a great deal of information and super descriptions of how and why they produce wine in the manner there. Her enthusiasm was contagious for both the wine and the region. We are looking into returning and spending a week in one of their villas- that much delight!
5Great wine, great people and great scenery
My wife and I had a wonderful tour with Yuliya as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, and we had a great time talking about wine, life and everything else. We had a “private” tour as we were only ones booked for the day. The location is stunning and history of the vineyards and the surrounding area is fascinating. If you are on Elba, don’t pass up a visit, you will enjoy your time and never forget the experience.
4Wine tasting with taste
Lovely scenery, pleasant guide and good tasting plus nibbles. The experience allowed us to understand the beauties of Elba
5Wonderful experience!
When you are on Elba, definitely try to go to Tenuta Delle Ripalte. It is a wonderful estate where you can do lots of things during the day. Taking the wine tour was wonderful and having food and drinks on their terrace at sundown is an experience you will remember for the rest of your life.

About Isola d'Elba
Elba is the largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago, with beaches, mountain trails, old iron mines and the villas where Napoleon lived in exile.
Elba lies off the Tuscan coast, the largest island of the Tuscan Archipelago and the third largest in Italy. Its main town, Portoferraio, is a harbour ringed by Medici fortresses, and above it stand the villas where Napoleon lived during his exile in 1814 and 1815. The island has been mined for iron since Etruscan times, and the ground near Rio Marina still shows rust-red earth.
