1Sooooo bad experience
Arrived 15 Minutes Early, Still Got Left Behind. What a Joke! 🙃 Honestly, what a disappointing experience with Providence V Sunset Sailing. We booked this sunset cruise expecting a relaxing evening on the water. Instead, we ended up running around a marina looking for a boat that had already left. 😭 Here’s what happened. We arrived at Meeting Point B exactly 15 minutes before departure, just as instructed. There were plenty of tourists waiting around, but we couldn’t see any Providence staff helping people board. With about five minutes left before departure, WE spotted a Providence vehicle and went up to the driver ourselves. He told us he wasn’t responsible for taking passengers to the boat and asked us to wait there for five minutes. So we waited. Guess what? Nobody showed up. When the same driver came around again, WE had to go up to him AGAIN and ask for help. This time, he just pointed in the general direction of the boat and told us to walk there. Seriously?? It’s a huge marina with loads of boats and confusing pathways. We took two wrong turns trying to find the right boat, and by the time we finally got there… THE BOAT WAS GONE. 🙃 And here’s the frustrating part: We weren’t late. We weren’t at the wrong meeting point. We didn’t ignore anyone’s instructions. We arrived early, asked for help twice, and did exactly what their driver told us to do. Yet somehow, we were still left behind. For a paid tourist experience, you’d expect at least some basic boarding assistance, especially at a busy marina. If you’re going to tell passengers to wait somewhere, maybe actually send someone to help them? We paid for a sunset cruise, not a treasure hunt around the marina. 💀 We’re now requesting a full refund through Viator. Really disappointing experience. If you’re thinking of booking Providence V Sunset Sailing, please be careful and make absolutely sure you know exactly where the boat is. Would not recommend based on our experience.

5Sunset Delight
A pleasant night’s sailing with a friendly, efficient crew who interacted with the guests wonderfully.
5Unreal afternoon
Both staff were amazing and made us feel very welcomed, very friendly.
5Lovely evening
Great tour, with lovely nibbles & nice bubbles (although I think may have been low alcohol) Had an enjoyable evening
5Amazing sunset sailing trip
I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful sea. The sunset view on the sailing boat was absolutely stunning. The whole trip was relaxing and comfortable. It was such a wonderful experience watching the sky change colours over the ocean. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting here.

About Airlie Beach
Airlie Beach is a small seaside town on the Queensland coast and the mainland base for the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef.
The town sits on a sheltered bay of the Coral Sea in central Queensland, with a saltwater lagoon on the foreshore, a marina, and a main street of cafés and dive shops. Just offshore lie the Whitsunday Islands, a scatter of more than seventy forested islands set in calm turquoise water, and sailing boats of every size leave its harbours to cruise among them.
