  • 5Informative, Interesting with an Excellent Guide

Booked the small group walking tour. Nice small group size of 7 of us. The guide, Francesco, was excellent. Humorous and full of knowledge of the city of Verona and its history. Pointed out lots of sights that we had missed walking around by ourselves. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.

Excellent tour with knowledgeable guide Benadetta a Verona local. Enough detail at a steady pace although she was able to amend the route to accommodate people’s wishes. Warm and friendly with a great sense of humour which made the tour even more enjoyable.

  • 5Good overview

This was a wonderful tour. The guide was knowledgeable and energetic. We learned a lot about the city. Now that the venue charges to see Juliet’s balcony though it might be nice to include this in future tours.

About Verona

Verona, in Veneto, is a Roman and medieval city on a loop of the Adige, with a vast arena, Juliet's balcony and Lake Garda close by.

The Adige curves around Verona's old centre, and the city's Roman past is plain to see in the Arena, an amphitheatre of the first century that still stages open-air opera in summer. Piazza delle Erbe, the market square on the old Roman forum, is lined with frescoed houses and has a column topped by the lion of Venice, and the Torre dei Lamberti beside it can be climbed. The historic city is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
