  • 5Katie was my instructor....

Katie was my grandson’s instructor. She was patient and amazing. He got up and rode in all the way with his first lesson. He’s sixteen! He loved it! Thank you Katie!

  • 5Always a Great Experience

I did a surfing lesson with Noah. He was great. Very patient, knowledgeable, clear, and fun! He also gave me good tips on boards, suits, how to learn about surfing conditions, and other pro tips. I can't say about enough about the Santa Barbara Surf School. Each of the lessons I've had with them have been great. Will come back again soon!

  • 5Great day on the water

Had an amazing time on the water! Jack was very nice and informative and made the experience even more enjoyable. All four of us caught multiple waves by the end, huge success. Would definitely do it again.

  • 5Fun Surf Lesson with Josh

My friend and I had an amazing surf lesson with Josh! We were both nervous and had never surfed before, but Josh was very patient and helpful, and made the experience so much fun! We were able to stand up quicker than either of us expected, and left the lesson wishing we could come back right away! I highly recommend doing a lesson, we had such a fun time!

  • 5Exciting first time surfing

We had a fabulous experience for our very first time surfing. Mondos beach was great and the weather was amazing although the wind was a bit. Surfing is hard!! But our instructors were great, very patient and giving lots of instruction. We had a great experience and would do it again.

  • 5Had a blast with my three boys

We had a great time with Adam and Aiden. I had my three boys with me and we were all up and surfing immediately. They gave us a good overview, then got us into the right waves so we could catch them consistently. In 90 minutes, we were hooked and went back out the next day to catch some more on our own thanks to their lesson. Highly recommended.

About Ventura

Ventura is a Pacific coast city in southern California with a mission, a long wooden pier, a historic Main Street and boats to the Channel Islands.

Ventura stretches along the coast between the sea and the foothills of southern California. The Mission San Buenaventura, founded in 1782 by Junípero Serra as the last mission he established, stands in the historic downtown, a short walk from the beach. Ventura Pier, one of the longest wooden piers on the west coast, reaches out beside a promenade, and Main Street is lined with Victorian and Spanish-revival buildings, antique shops and cafés.
