  1. After meeting with your tour guide, you will reach the usually packed museum entrance, where, skipping the check-in line, you will enter the museums through a panoramic terrace. You will enjoy a stunning view of St. Peter's dome overlooking the Vatican gardens; the perfect spot to take a great picture! The guide will then walk you through all the highlights of the museums which include masterpieces and artefacts from different cultures and civilizations. You will enter the Pio Clementine museum, famous for its unique Greek/Roman ancient statues such as the Laocoon group, you will gasp at the length of the enormous Tapestry Hall, then through the Hall of the Painted Maps, you will enter the Sistine Chapel whose impact in history, religion and visual arts has no equal in the world. All of this in a small and intimate group of maximum 10 people since we don't want to make our clients feel uncomfortable in big groups.

  2. Inside the world renowned Sistine Chapel, you will admire Michelangelo's frescoed ceiling, considered by many art historians, as one of the greatest masterpieces in history. "Without having seen the Sistine Chapel one can form no appreciable idea of what one man is capable of achieving." Johann Wolfgang Goethe (1787)

About Rome

Rome layers nearly three thousand years of history into one walkable city, from the Colosseum and Forum to Baroque piazzas and Vatican art.

Ancient Rome is still in plain sight. The Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill sit together at the city's heart, the Pantheon still stands with its open oculus, and fragments of temples and aqueducts turn up between apartment blocks. Across the Tiber, Vatican City holds St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling.

Top-ranked sights in Rome: Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel.
