5A good guide is a must!!
Great tour of the Torino Egyptian Museum. You really need a guide, who happens to be an archaeologist, because there is so much to see! Our guide Francesco really helped us see key things in the collection and gave meaning to everything we saw. Tour lasted about 2 1/2 -3 hours hitting the highlights.
5Incredible museum truly brought to life by our wonderful guide!
Our guide Francesca was brilliant. She delivered an entertaining, engaging and easy-to-understand crash course in Egyptian history and truly brought this incredible museum - and its ancient inhabitants - back to life. We learned so much and felt emotionally connected as well as educated.
5A Must-Do Experience While In Turin
This is a must-do activity while in Turin! The museum experience was fantastic and our guide, Alessandro, was one of the best guides we have ever had. Throughout the museum he weaved a story that made you feel as if you were walking through time with him. We learned more than I could have ever imagined about Egyptian history and culture. We would absolutely recommend this experience!
5Museo Egizio Torino Italy
What a beautiful museum. Well laid out with so many wonderful pieces and exhibits. My wife and I toured the museum with our guide Nadia. Nadia was fantastic, a 5-Star guide. She had a degree in Egyptology and we learned so much from her. Nadia took us on a well thought out route through the whole museum that also walked us through the complete timeline of Egypt. Nadia had a passion and energy for ancient Egypt that shone through from our meeting outside the museum to the completion of the tour.
5Amazing tour with Nadia!...
Amazing tour with Nadia! She made history come alive and we learned so much. Highly recommend this tour.
56000 years of history in amazing 2h visit
Our guide Nadia was excellent, fun and insightful. She is very knowledgeable thanks to her background in Egyptology. The museum itself was amazing!

About Turin
Turin is the elegant Piedmont capital below the Alps, a city of arcaded avenues, royal palaces, a famous Egyptian museum, chocolate and vermouth.
Turin was the first capital of unified Italy, from 1861 to 1865, and before that the seat of the Savoy dynasty, whose baroque palaces and wide arcaded streets still define the centre. Piazza Castello holds the Royal Palace and Palazzo Madama, and Piazza San Carlo is a grand square with twin churches. The Mole Antonelliana, a tower topped by a spire, houses the National Cinema Museum, and the cathedral keeps the Shroud of Turin.
Top-ranked sights in Turin: Grinzane Cavour Castle, Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo.
