Itinerary
The Yanaka Cemetery in Tokyo is known as a historic site with a peaceful atmosphere, where prominent figures, including Yoshinobu Tokugawa, the last shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate, are laid to rest. The Tokugawa family ruled Japan for over 250 years and shaped the history of Japan during the Edo period (1603-1868). Yoshinobu's resignation marked the end of the samurai era and the beginning of Japan's modernization in the Meiji Restoration. The beautiful cherry blossoms bloom in the spring, making it a popular spot for both history and nature lovers. Translated with (free version)
You can experience making Japanese wagashi. Japanese wagashi are so beautiful and delicate that they are attracting attention from overseas. They are inspired by the four seasons and beautiful landscapes of Japan, and you can also learn about Japanese culture and history. Even beginners can easily make wagashi, as you will be carefully taught how to make them.
We will visit a long-established Japanese paper craft store that has been in business since the Edo period. We deal mainly in traditional Japanese crafts made of Japanese Edo chiyogami paper. Edo chiyogami is a type of colorful and beautiful traditional Japanese paper that reflects Japanese culture since the Edo period. A variety of handmade products are available, including origami paper, boxes, folding screens, and more. Why not purchase some as souvenirs?
We will go to a store that sells a popular Japanese snack called sembei. Made from carefully selected rice, each rice cracker is carefully baked using traditional methods. Popular products include soy sauce-flavored rice crackers and sweet rice crackers dusted with white sugar, offering a wide variety of flavors and ingredients. The store also offers a selection of gift crackers and seasonal products, which are popular as souvenirs and gifts.

About Tokyo
Neon-lit districts, quiet shrines, superb food and distinct neighbourhoods make up Tokyo, a vast, orderly metropolis linked by punctual trains.
Every district feels like its own city. Shibuya's famous scramble crossing and Shinjuku's towers, bars and Golden Gai alleys pulse with energy, while Harajuku mixes youth fashion with the forested calm of the Meiji Jingu shrine. In Asakusa, the Sensō-ji temple and its market street keep an older Tokyo alive, and Ginza offers polished department stores and galleries.
Top-ranked sights in Tokyo: Senso-ji Temple (Asakusa Temple), Tokyo Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu).
