Itinerary
In a very simple way, directly in the vineyards, we will talk about the agronomic cycle of our organic grapes with the help of genetics, physiology, ecology, pruning, handling of the soil and harvesting.
In the cellar we will take into consideration the basic concepts for a quality wine making, analyzing the chemical, physical and microbiological details of our wines, during all the main steps of the process from grape to wine: stemming-crushing, alcoholic fermentation, maceration, malolatic fermentation, racking off, stabilizing, bottling and refinement.
In our equipped tasting room we will taste 4 of our organic wines, all typical of the area, in order to understand all the sensorial notes with the help of our eyes, nose and palate. A triumph of perceptions to exalt what we love most about wine: the complex world of emotions.
The tasting will end up with a “light-lunch” combining wine and food. We will offer seasonal menus in order to satisfy the palate and keep a health body, combining food with one of our wines and with our organic extra-virgin olive oil.

5Small, friendly winery, near Siena
One of our favorite winery vists. This is a small winery, just outside of Siena. We took a taxi to and from, I believe it was on the order of €12-€15 one way. Our guide was Lorenzo, the wine maker. He was very informative and very engaging. We got the wine tasting plus light lunch and it was a great combination. The food was very good. And we shipped some wine hime! We totally recommend this visit

5Amazing value with brilliant commentary and excellent pairings
It was an amazing tour that utilized the three hours with brilliant information, extraordinary tastings, great food in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Dario explained that winemaking is a science and we learned so much. This is a well priced time worthy tour that we would suggest to anyone to sign up for.
5Exceptional!!!
Superb. Dario was our guide. He is a wealth of knowledge. He is passionate about the wine industry and vineyard, and taught me more than I ever learned at several other wine tours. The wine pairings were exceptional, and the pours were quite generous. The food was amazing. The setting is exquisite. The day was relaxed and unhurried. Dario is personable and answers our many questions, reflecting his extraordinary knowledge. Highly recommend.

5Excellent tour, great wine and lunch.
Great tour, delicicious light lunch and fantastic wine. The guide (Dario) was knowledgeable, humorous and was generous with his time and insight. This is a small Tuscan winery with great traditional and modern wines . Intimate experience with fellow tourists and enthusiasts. If you are looking for a wine tasting experience lasting for around three hours (or more) and find yourself in the Siena area, I could not recommend this more. Oh and the wine is pretty damn good too...

About Siena
Siena is a medieval Tuscan hill city of red-brown brick, known for its shell-shaped main square, its striped cathedral and the twice-yearly Palio.
Siena was Florence's great rival in the Middle Ages, and its historic centre, a UNESCO site, still looks much as it did then. Il Campo, the shell-shaped square, slopes down to the Palazzo Pubblico and its slender tower, the Torre del Mangia. The cathedral, striped in white and dark green marble, has a pavement of inlaid scenes and a library of painted manuscripts.
Top-ranked sights in Siena: Piazza del Campo, Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), Mangia Tower (Torre del Mangia).
