Highlights

Behind every room of the Borghese Gallery is a sense of privilege: limited entry, extraordinary masterpieces, and an atmosphere that already feels far removed from the usual museum visit. This experience elevates it further with a more exclusive way to explore, whether through the privacy of your own dedicated guide or the intimacy of a semi-private setting with just a few guests. Rather than moving through the gallery as part of a standard crowd, you experience it with greater space, more personal attention, and the freedom to appreciate Bernini and Caravaggio in a way that feels more immersive, more refined, and far more special.

Itinerary

  1. Step into the Borghese Gallery on a private visit and explore one of Rome’s most exquisite art collections with your own expert guide. Set within a grand 17th-century villa shaped by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, the gallery brings together sculpture, painting, and richly decorated interiors in an intimate setting designed for close appreciation. As you move through its elegant halls, your guide reveals the stories behind Bernini’s Apollo and Daphne, where marble comes to life in motion, and Caravaggio’s David with the Head of Goliath and Boy with a Basket of Fruit, where light and shadow create striking intensity. You’ll also encounter Raphael’s graceful works, Roman mosaics, and pieces by Titian and Canova, all connected through a visit that feels more personal, focused, and engaging in a private format, transforming the gallery into a clear and memorable journey through artistic genius.

About Rome

Rome layers nearly three thousand years of history into one walkable city, from the Colosseum and Forum to Baroque piazzas and Vatican art.

Ancient Rome is still in plain sight. The Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill sit together at the city's heart, the Pantheon still stands with its open oculus, and fragments of temples and aqueducts turn up between apartment blocks. Across the Tiber, Vatican City holds St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling.

Top-ranked sights in Rome: Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel.
