5A GREAT COMPANY TO TOUR WITH ON NORFOLK
We booked two tours with Baunti Tours the Progressive Dinner and the visit to Colleen McCullogh's House. Both were exceptional and I would highly recommend both tours. Baunti Tours are very good.
3Progressive dinner
It was a relaxed night. People very friendly. Meals pretty basic. BYO wine which we werent informed..wine at venues basic.
2Progressive Dinner Fail
We were very disappointed with this experience as it was not what we expected. The group was large (40 people) and it was not an intimate experience in people’s homes as advertised. The food was light on and very average. The complimentary wine was terrible. A lot of time was spent getting on and off buses. It was not good value for money. Spend your money elsewhere.
4Great night. Worth Doing
Did this trip through Baunti Tours. Met the bus at the tour office as our accommodation was not one of the pick up points. Had 2 mini buses of people and went to 3 different homes - one per course. Seating was at long trestle tables at the first 2 locations and at individual tables at the 3rd drinks could be purchased at the entree house, a glass of wine of juice served at the second and tea/ coffee served at the 3rd. We byo a bottle of wine. Food at each location was excellent and sufficient. A family member at each location chatted with visitors and gave a talk on aspects of their life or family history. All very entertaining. The evening was not rushed and the homes are not very far from each other. The tour lasted about 3 hours. Take a little cash with you as a couple of the homes had items and foodstuffs for sale. Enjoyable evening.
4Well worth considering as a tour
This experience is one that I have never before come across in all my years of travelling. Three courses at three different private properties with a history of each property given by the owners. It is unique in my experience. Unfortunately our tour coincided with a tropical storm hitting the island but regardless it went very well. The staff from Pinetrees tours were very good, funny and accomodating. Food was acceptable given we were 44 persons arriving at once. I would definitely recommend this as a tour to be considered.
5Great night out
All great. Food and families were wonderful. Tour guide was very good 👍

About Norfolk Island
Norfolk Island is a small green island in the South Pacific, with tall pines, a World Heritage convict settlement and descendants of the Bounty mutineers.
Norfolk Island lies in the South Pacific about 1,400 kilometres east of the Australian mainland, between New Zealand and New Caledonia, and is an Australian territory. It is only eight kilometres long, a plateau of pasture and farmland ringed by cliffs and lined with the tall Norfolk Island pines that gave the tree its name. Kingston, on the south coast, holds the Georgian buildings and ruins of two convict settlements, part of the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage listing.
