About Brindisi
Brindisi is an Adriatic port in southern Puglia, the end of the Roman Via Appia, with castles, a deep natural harbour and the white towns of Puglia nearby.
Brindisi has been a harbour since Roman times, and its natural port, a bay with two inlets said to resemble a stag's antlers, made it the gateway to Greece and the East.
