5Excellent time on the sandboards!
Informative prior to arriving at the pick up point. Once on the 4WD, we went up to the dunes. This was a fantastic experience. We very much enjoyed the sandboarding and had ample opportunity to go down as many times as we wanted. We finished our session with a drive down to the beach and hunted for Pipi’s. Would recommend!
5Something different
The sand dunes were beautiful. It was amazing to see a full desert suddenly out of no where. The tour was reasonably priced and its a small price to pay for a fun adventure.
2Expensive
Expensive for the small trip but people where really nice.
5Absolutely unmissable
The best time you can have on 4 wheels. Do the 1 hour guided tour, It's perfect. I went on a perfect, sunny winter day and you could see everything. Bring water and sunglasses. There are 2 groups, fast and slow, so you can drive at your convenience.

Nelson Bay is the main town, with a marina, cafés and boat trips, and quieter villages such as Lemon Tree Passage and Tea Gardens sit on the water to the west and north.
