As one of Western Australia's earliest inland settlements, York preserves exquisite colonial-era architecture and vividly showcases its historical character through its historical sites. Visitors can stroll through antique shops, browse local galleries, relax in cozy cafes, and explore museums to learn about the stories of early European settlers. In spring, wildflowers bloom, creating a breathtaking landscape that attracts nature lovers and photographers alike.
We arrived at the town of Hyden, near Wave Rock, and had lunch there.
Wave Rock is a striking natural rock formation located near Hayden, Western Australia. Shaped like a giant wave, it rises approximately 15 meters high and stretches for over 100 meters. Its unique geological features and excellent photographic angles make it an ideal spot for enjoying breathtaking views.
The hippo's yawn is located next to Wave Rock, where a deep crack in the center of the rock resembles a hippo's mouth, forming a vivid and interesting shape.

About Perth
Perth is the capital of Western Australia, a sunny Indian Ocean city on the Swan River with a large hilltop park, white beaches and the port of Fremantle.
Perth sits where the Swan River widens into a broad estuary on the Indian Ocean coast, and it is often described as one of the most remote large cities in the world, with Adelaide more than two thousand kilometres to the east. Kings Park, a large reserve of bushland and botanic garden on a hill, looks over the skyline and the water, and the Elizabeth Quay waterfront anchors the centre.
Top-ranked sights in Perth: Margaret River, Swan River, Rottnest Island.
