Hozenji Temple A small, atmospheric temple hidden in the middle of the city. Its moss-covered statue of Fudo Myo-o is famous—visitors often splash water on it while making a wish. The peaceful atmosphere offers a surprising contrast to the busy streets of Namba. Hozenji Yokocho Alley A narrow stone-paved alley lined with traditional restaurants and bars. Walking through it feels like stepping back in time. It’s a great place to soak in the nostalgic, old-town charm of Osaka, and maybe even try some local dishes at a hidden gem eatery.

4Exploring Osaka and n the rain
Satsuki was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and curious young Osakan who enjoyed sharing her home town with us. The only downside was the weather which of course is not controllable. However, we all continued on through the downpours with umbrellas, raincoats and a positive attitude. The undercover market areas around Dotombori provided relief from the weather.

4Great local highlights tour
Good tour from an Osaka Local Sutsuki who grew up in the area and showed us her favourite local spots/affordable places. The tour has a lot of under cover areas which was nice as it was very wet during the tour
5Great value for money!!

Ryan was a great tour guide. Very nice and very informative
5Amazing tour of Namba
The tour exceeded my expectations. Shihab, minoka, and jin were amazing hosts and took up to places other tours wouldn't. They were friendly, helpful, and insightful in every step of the way. Highly recommended!

About Osaka
Osaka is known as Japan's kitchen, a big-hearted port city of neon canals, street food and a grand castle, with Kyoto, Nara and Kobe close by.
Dotonbori, the canal-side entertainment strip, is the city's beating heart, its giant mechanical crab and glowing billboards reflected in the water. Nearby, the covered arcades of Shinsaibashi and the kitchenware street of Doguyasuji draw shoppers, and Kuromon Market tempts with seafood, wagyu skewers and fruit.
Top-ranked sights in Osaka: Tsutenkaku Tower, Osaka Castle (Osaka-jo), Nara Park (Nara Koen).
