In a 5-minute walk, you can visit three 200-year-old Samurai residences. You can enter two of them. Taking photos inside is permitted. Let’s imagine what life was like for a samurai during the Edo period (1603-1868)!
Just a 1-minute walk away, you can find a tranquil lane running through a bamboo forest which has remained almost unchanged since the Edo period. Let’s walk along the beautiful lane, which samurai may have used 200 years ago to travel to and from Sakura castle. It’s a great spot to take many beautiful photos!
In several minute walk, you can visit a Japanese confectionery, Kimuraya Zorokumochi Honpo, 222-1 Shinmachi, Sakura Chiba prefecture, located near the Sakura Museum. You will select your Wagashi to enjoy with either matcha or green tea at the Millennium Center or the shop. You won’t be visiting the Sakura Museum.
In a 7-minute walk, you can return to the Millennium Center, where you will change your clothes. You can enjoy Wagashi with Matcha if you haven’t drunk tea at the Japanese confectionery.

About Tokyo
Neon-lit districts, quiet shrines, superb food and distinct neighbourhoods make up Tokyo, a vast, orderly metropolis linked by punctual trains.
Every district feels like its own city. Shibuya's famous scramble crossing and Shinjuku's towers, bars and Golden Gai alleys pulse with energy, while Harajuku mixes youth fashion with the forested calm of the Meiji Jingu shrine. In Asakusa, the Sensō-ji temple and its market street keep an older Tokyo alive, and Ginza offers polished department stores and galleries.
Top-ranked sights in Tokyo: Senso-ji Temple (Asakusa Temple), Tokyo Imperial Palace, Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu).
