5Very nice experience.
Very nice experience and good information. Nice tour guide with good English. Good overview of Haarlem.
3Not our day on the Haarlem Canals.
Personally it was not a good experience for us. Waited at the pickup location, boat was a no show. Rang the event team to be told the tour we had booked had been cancelled due to an issue with the boat. The operator did send an email which we never received. Rebooked on the 13:00 trip and this was not a pleasant trip. Boat was not properly equipped to handle the intense thunderstorm and rain which came down. Boat skipper did his best but did apologise during the canal trip. I'm sure Haarlem Events on Water delivery excellent tours, but this was not our day. We did receive an email via viator the following day but could not open the message.

5A Fun and Funny tour!
This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Our host was a wealth of information and an accomplished comedian. The amenities were very good as the tour included local snacks and an assortment of wines and beer...all free. He is fluent in at least Dutch, English and German, and who knows what else. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Haarlem!

About Haarlem
Haarlem is a compact historic city west of Amsterdam, with a Gothic church on its market square, Frans Hals paintings and almshouse courtyards.
Haarlem is the capital of North Holland, a canal-lined city of gabled houses on the River Spaarne, a short train ride west of Amsterdam. The Grote Markt is its large market square, framed by the Gothic church of St Bavo, whose great organ was played by the young Mozart in 1766, and by the stately town hall. The painter Frans Hals lived and worked here, and the Frans Hals Museum displays his group portraits.
