Exploring Narrow Canals: Kayaks can navigate smaller, less-traveled waterways, offering a unique perspective of the park’s diverse ecosystem. Wildlife Spotting: Expect to see howler monkeys, capuchins, sloths, caimans, river turtles, and a variety of birds such as toucans, herons, and kingfishers. Serene and Immersive Experience: Paddling through the calm waters creates a peaceful and immersive connection with nature. 5A lot of nice info of the guide!
We had guide Kendrick. He was personally for us alone this day, it was nice we could ask as many questions as we liked. He showed us animals and gave us a lot of details about them. He was very kind and motivated! We paddled through lagoons which was really fun and peacefull at the same time. Lovely trip!
510/10
We had an incredible time. Kendrick was our guide and he had so much knowledge of the animals and plants. He had a great attitude and showed us so many incredible things. We had the time of our lives, me and my wife highly recommend this company and Kendrick as a guide. He was top notch 👌
5Kayaking
Sebastian is the most fun and knowledgeable naturalist. We had a fantastic experience. spending time with him. They have the kayaking, and also the electric canoe tours. (No engines). Recommend staying with them.
5Stunning morning kayak
Beautiful and relaxing morning kayak with multiple animals seen. Kendrick our guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the flora and fauna. Would highly recommend this activity!
5Outstanding and immersive canoe trip
Our experience with Samuel was hands down one of the best ways to start our trip to Costa Rica. The canoeing was very accessible to all but yet the array of wildlife we saw was outstanding. Howler monkeys, spider monkeys, spoonbills, herons of many varieties, iguanas, multiple cayman, ibis the list goes on! Samuel gave us informative insight into the lives of the animals and without him we would have not seen nearly as much as we did. 10/10
5Amazing experience on solo trip
This was an amazing experience! Hector was my guide and he was great. We saw a lot of different animals, and kayaked at a relaxing pace. It was very peaceful to be out on the water early in the morning. I was the only person on the tour, so I could spend as long as I wanted looking at the animals or enjoying the view. Would definitely recommend this tour!

About Tortuguero
Tortuguero is a village and national park on Costa Rica's Caribbean coast, cut off from the road network, with jungle canals and nesting sea turtles.
Tortuguero is a small village on a strip of land between the Caribbean Sea and a network of rainforest canals in Limón province. No road reaches it, so boats and small planes are the only ways in. The national park beside it, created in 1975, protects beach, lagoon, swamp and tall rainforest, and it is one of the wettest corners of the country.
