Highlights

We will take you to this rainforest and start hiking and looking for exiting species of animals while the jungle takes on a totally different character. It goes from a green cathedral-like forest, where beautiful shining blue morpho butterflies fly along small rivers, to a pitch-black jungle, filled with the sounds of millions of insects and dozens of frogs & toads. It’s the best time to find, observe and photograph beautiful tree frogs, shy snakes, colorful insects, mammals and other rainforest creatures that only come out at night.

  • 5Fantastic night tour

Our driver was excellent and took us to a town restaurant to drop us off after the tour which was convenient for us. And our tour guide Denny was awesome. He showed us sooo many frogs, spiders, scorpions and other wildlife. Hands down one of the top 3 tours I have taken ever.

Danny was great! Awesome guide and had me and my wife feeling safe in the jungle. There was always wildlife to see wherever you looked!

  • 5Best trip in Costa Rica (if you like frogs and spiders)

What a brilliant tour. Danny was a brilliant and knowledgable guide. Even cured our youngest child’s stomach ache with a quick chew of a medicinal plant. We saw so much more than we expected and Danny made up for our bad photography skills by sending us the photos he took along the way.

  • 5Jungle night tour

We had such a great experience with jungle night. It was just our family on the tour which was really nice because he was able to spend time looking at creatures we were all interested in. We didn’t we didn’t see any other people throughout our tour which felt really nice after the crowds everywhere else. Our guide was so knowledgeable and spotted so many creatures for us to see including lots of frogs, some camel, spiders. A lovely personal touch was put guide coming to collect us in the vans. We would thoroughly recommend this tour. Thanks so much for a brilliant experience.

  • 5In night tour you are not...

In night tour you are not likely to see monkeys, sloths, and other mammals. , but spiders, frogs, camens, birds, leaf cutter ants, scorpion and snakes. Fascinating tour with excellent guide, but not what we expected to see. Would recommend highly, just want folks to have realistic expectations.

About Quepos

Quepos is a small Pacific port in Costa Rica beside Manuel Antonio National Park, with rainforest, white beaches and sport-fishing boats.

Quepos sits on the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, a fishing town and former banana port now surrounded by oil palm plantations and forested hills. Its marina brings in boats chasing sailfish and marlin, and a small main street has shops, simple restaurants and a stretch of seafront. The town is the base for the nearby national park, a few kilometres away along a hilly road.
