  • 5Long evening with good wines and desert

Excellent way to explore the Chianti vineyards, medieval villages and the Tuscan countryside if you don’t have a rental or want to simply enjoy wine tasting. We went to two vineyards, a beautiful castle with an amazing sunset, a medieval town with lots of history and a dessert tasting final stop which was a nice surprise. The trip is long and getting a taxi back to the hotel at night was a little challenging on a Saturday night but a very good half day trip! Highly recommended

  • 4Good with caution.

It was a good experience but our guide couldn’t join us until the very end. To rectify this they threw on an extra biscuit tasting at the end which we were not expecting. This made us miss our last bus back to the village we were staying at. That resulted in an expensive cab fare.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the places we visited. Our only issue was the “hard sell” at the last winery.

  • 5Great way to fill in an afternoon in Siena

Our tour guide was caught in traffic from Florence, but we were kept informed. It wasn't a small group, we had about 25. The tour was fantastic with plenty of time at each stop. It went overtime, which was excellent value for money. Our guide was a little shy with limited English, and could have given more info en route. Overall... woukd recommend.

Valesca has a cheerful and positive energy. Your experience through Tuscany will only get better with her and Massimo as guides. Highly recommend.

This was a great and packed tour. You visit two wineries and two villages with an informative tour guide in a small group. Great value for money. The first winery let you taste three wines and at the second you got to taste 6 with snacks. It was all really good and fun.

About Siena

Siena is a medieval Tuscan hill city of red-brown brick, known for its shell-shaped main square, its striped cathedral and the twice-yearly Palio.

Siena was Florence's great rival in the Middle Ages, and its historic centre, a UNESCO site, still looks much as it did then. Il Campo, the shell-shaped square, slopes down to the Palazzo Pubblico and its slender tower, the Torre del Mangia. The cathedral, striped in white and dark green marble, has a pavement of inlaid scenes and a library of painted manuscripts.

Top-ranked sights in Siena: Piazza del Campo, Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), Mangia Tower (Torre del Mangia).
